| TUCKERMAN AND TAMALPAIS We celebrated our tenth year in business last December. 2008 and 2009 have been extremely difficult years for many businesses and for untold number of people in the United States. There are promising signs in the United States of the return of a robust economy in 2010 and increased optimism in the consumer market. Unemployment still remains high but will gradually although slowly improve in the near future. Tuckerman and Tamalpais is located in the seacoast region of New Hampshire. New Hampshire has an 18 mile seacoast. 18 miles is short by many states’ standards but the Seacoast Region of New Hampshire is beautiful. The name Tuckerman and Tamalpais is derived from Tuckerman’s Ravine on Mt. Washington, New Hampshire and Mt. Tamalpais in beautiful Marin County just north of San Francisco, California. Tuckerman’s Ravine is noted for its extreme spring snow skiing. The Ravine is a favorite place for many daredevils to try their skiing skills on very steep un-groomed slopes. Mt. Tamalpais is an idyllic mountain overlooking the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. A favorite mountain for hiking, site seeing and bicyclists. If you look at the Tuckerman and Tamalpais© logo you will see snow covered slopes of Mt Washington in the back round and in the foreground the lush redwood forests of Mt. Tamalpais. Our business philosophy has been to market high quality wine enjoyment products. Our best selling items are mounted stemware racks, hanging wine glass racks, wrought iron wine bottle racks, wooden wine racks and wine storage racks. We select our products based on quality and usability. Most of our wine and glass racks are crafted by artisans and companies located in the United States. Our stemware racks come from New Hampshire artisans and from J.K Adams in Vermont. Our wooden wine bottle racks and wine storage systems come from J.K Adams and from the mid-west. We will be branching out in the near future into other product lines crafted by local artisans’. Although we offer products for wine enjoyment we really offer attractive, eclectic and useful items for the home. We help you organize, save space and attractively display your most prized possessions. Tuckerman and Tamalpais was founded by Georgann and Bob Weir. We have a combined 60 years of business and consumer satisfaction experience between us in industry and the retail trade.
